Angelo Piazzoli

Angelo Piazzoli was born in Bonn on 10 June 1973. After graduating from commercial college, Mr. Piazzoli began his training as an insurance salesman at Allianz Versicherungs AG in Cologne in 1992. At the same time, Mr Piazzoli helped out in his parents’ catering business, as he had done throughout his school years. Due to his acquired experience in the catering business with regard to service, customer wishes and, above all, customer satisfaction, his pronounced passion for “making everything possible for a customer” was already evident during his training in the Allianz Group.

Immediately after his training, Mr. Piazzoli moved to the industrial insurance broker GFA in 1995 in order to neutrally implement the needs of medium-sized companies as best as possible with the insurers as an account manager.

Against his success in both customer retention and new acquisition, he was appointed authorised signatory of GFA on 01.01.2000 at the age of 26.

After 14 years of professional experience within the industrial property insurance sector, Mr. Piazzoli switched to the world of credit insurance and joined the management of GfK on 01.07.2006.

In the period from April 2008 to March 2009, he deepened his acquired expertise and very completed a qualification programme at Bochum University to become a Certified Credit Manager® (CCM®). In particular, his very good project work “Implementation of an international credit insurance programme at group level” is very well received by renowned international companies.

In 2015, Mr Angelo Piazzoli founded and built up the international network FaroSol together with the Managing Director of GfK, Mr Winfried Vogt, in order to be able to offer internationally active companies’ individual solutions through professional on-site support. Mr Angelo Piazzoli is also a member of the Board of Directors as Treasurer of FaroSol.
